Futile verbinden progressive Rhythmik mit ordentlichen Kopfnicker-Riffs, traurig-schöne Melancholie und geballte Verzweiflung zu einer salonfähigen Alternative-Rock-Mischung, die weit über die üblichen Genre-Grenzen hinaus Zuhörer findet. Vielschichtige Kompositionen sorgen gleichwohl für Eingängigkeit und Facettenreichtum, ohne dabei den Rock’n’Roll-Faktor zu kurz kommen zu lassen. Die vier Südpfälzer aus der Nähe von Karlsruhe gründeten sich bereits 2006 und veröffentlichten vor kurzem mit “7 nightmares” ihr zweites full-length Album.
 
 
In their music Futile celebrate the close relation between progressive rhythms and animating riffs, between sweet melancholy and acute desperation – in order to produce a comfortable mixture of alternative rock which goes far beyond the common boundaries of genre and thus is likely to find a large audience. Thanks to their complex variety the compositions are catchy and have manifold facets at the same time, without having to renounce a certain Rock’n’Roll factor. The four guys from the southern part of the Palatinate, near Karlsruhe, have been rocking since their foundation in 2006 and have recently released their second full-length album, “7 nightmares”.
