Hey guys,

just a few lines on what’s going on with Futile right now. The last few weeks and months we have been collecting many musical ideas. Sometimes everyone on their own at home, sometimes two or three of us jamming at our rehearsal space.
Now we’re at a point where we believe that these ideas can truly lead to something great.

We can not say exactly which direction the music will take, we even don’t know it ourselfes. We just want to let things grow slowly and take as much time as we think is necessary.
One thing is certain: THERE WILL BE A NEW FUTILE RELEASE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

We want to keep you up to date constantly and give you some ideas of things to come.

And we won’t disappear until the big day, we will continue to play some shows here and there. Next one will be at 12th May with the guys from GREE at the Stud in Offenburg: http://www.stud-offenburg.de

At the end of the year we have a little gift for you again: An acoustic version of “Breathing Fire” – directly out of the rehearsal space, live and unplugged.
We wish you all the best for 2012 – hopefully we’ll see you early in the new year (how about January 6th at the Substage in Karlsruhe …?).

FUTILE

Right in the new year we’re back around: On January 6th we’ll play at the Substage in Karlsruhe as part of the “They Might Be Stars” series. Tickets are available from us for a price of 3 EUR or for 5 EUR at the box office. We will start early at 9 pm, so make shure you’re there on time and rather drink a beer afterwards then before – maybe together with us.
At this point, again a big thank you to everyone who supported us at our shows in Auggen and Kandel – you are incredible!

Just in time for Christmas we clear out our warehouse (which means our rehearsal space…). Therefor you can now order every Shirt for 8 EUR in our online shop. Who has none already should hurry up, we have only a few sizes left in stock.

As you might have noticed, our website has got a new design. We will now also write – more or less regularly – in English, so that people outside of the small Germenay can also understand what we’re talking about…
